What we do: Volunteers see and serve the people they encounter through our Church.
Who we are: Volunteers are people who partner with our ministry and take great pleasure in opening the way for others to
experience Jesus.
Where can I serve as a volunteer?
We have a number of different amazing Volunteer Teams here at Liberty! We would love to invite you to join us in serving on one of them.
LC KIDS/PRESCHOOL
Care for newborn children through Pre-K while showing them how much Jesus loves them. Our Uptown environment allows for parents to be fully present in a service knowing their child is in a safe and loving environment. Uptown is offered at each service time, Sundays 9.00am | 10.30am + Wednesday 6:30p.
LC KIDS
Lead kids K – 5th grade to Jesus through weekly teachings, music, large group games, and small group discussions. This time allows children to learn life applications through God’s Word in new and exciting ways. Downtown is available Sunday 9.00am | 10.30am | + Wednesday 6:30p.
WORSHIP
Help to lead the people of our house into God’s throne room each week through one of our weekly services. Anyone who loves to sing and play is welcome to audition. *Audition is required.
PRAYER TEAM
An opportunity to speak with people who have been moved by the Holy Spirit during each service. Some may just want to pray, others may have questions on Salvation and Baptism, and some for Rededication. This is a very important ministry in helping new Christ followers and members in following the next step in their walk with the Jesus.
HOSPITALITY
Creating an excellent and welcoming experience as we host anyone who walks through the doors of Liberty. Hospitality sets the table and serves across our Church.
LC STUDENTS
Challenge and equip students to live a life of passion and obedience to God, through live worship, exciting games, and energetic biblical teaching. LC Students meet Wednesday nights at 6.30
LC PRODUCTION
Responsible for lighting, audio, and video production for each service and help to create a unique worship experience for guests. *Previous production experience preferred.
CARE TEAM
To maintain regular contact with our sick and home-bound members, or those going through the loss of a loved one. A great opportunity to bring love, acceptance and encouragement and hope to those in need.
GUEST SERVICES
Engage guests as the first point of contact for Liberty Church. Help to create a welcoming environment for all guests who enter in by directing guests in parking their cars and managing the flow of traffic, greeting, serving and connecting with everyone who comes through the doors each week.
LC CAFE
Many different areas to serve in the cafe from taking orders and transactions, preparing coffee and drink orders to stocking and cleaning the LC Cafe area.
SECURITY
Provide a safe and distraction-free environment for all guests, volunteers, and Team members.
Volunteer FAQ
What happens after I apply to become a Volunteer?
After you apply, your application will be reviewed and processed, then, you will be placed on a Volunteer Team. Afterwards, you will hear from your specific Team Lead regarding details and training. Some teams will require a background check and additional interview processes before training can be scheduled. Once you have completed training you will be scheduled to serve!
How often do I serve?
Each Team operates on a specific rotation cycle. We want you to find your balance of serving and attending here at Liberty. You are also able to block out dates that you are unavailable to serve because of previous plans or travel.
When serving, can I also attend the service?
We want you to be fully present while serving and fully present while attending! So this means we prefer that you serve at a gathering and attend a gathering.
