SHANA MCADAMS, MS, LPC

Shana has been married to her husband, Trent, for more than 25 years. Together they have been blessed with two wonderful children-Savannah, a college senior, and Brady, a high school student. Her personal experiences as a wife, mother, and follower of Christ provide a strong foundation for the compassion and understanding she brings to her counseling practice.
Shana earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia. She later completed a Master's degree in Professional Counseling at Georgia State University while also earning a Master's degree in Christian Counseling from Richmond Graduate University.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia, Shana is dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find healing, hope, and growth. She is a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. By integrating sound clinical practices with biblical principles, Shana seeks to guide clients toward emotional, relational, and spiritual wellness.

WHAT WE DO
Liberty Christian Counseling provides counseling to individuals & couples wanting spiritual, emotional, or relational support services. It is always our mission to offer guidance and encouragement based on biblical truths and to point clients toward the only One who can give real and lasting change.
Liberty Christian Counseling offers counseling for preteens, teens, and adults with a primary focus on issues such as:
- Marital/Family Issues
- Emotional, behavioral, and/or spiritual issues
- Life change and adjustment
There may be significant emotional or psychological issues that we consider to be outside the realm of our expertise. If we assess that any issue is beyond our competence, we will gladly provide you with a referral to the proper professionals to help you.
session fees
The current fee for individual and family counseling sessions is $50 per session for LC members, and $90 per session for non-LC members. Each session is typically 45-50 minutes in length. However, the initial session may be slightly longer due to the gathering of data and other intake information. Fees may be paid by cash or by check and are due at the beginning of each session.
It is our desire to help anyone who seeks Christian counseling, regardless of financial ability to pay. If this fee is a significant burden to you, we will be happy to discuss reduced fee options. We have limited amounts of financial assistance that are available due to the gracious donations of individuals and funding of Liberty Church.
