Liberty Baptist Church desires to join forces with parents in teaching children about who God is and creating disciples who passionately follow Christ.  We want to lead children beyond having biblical knowledge into living a biblical lifestyle. Our goal is to show them how God works in the story of Scripture and in the story of their lives all while having FUN at church!

UPTOWN// Babies – Preschool

In Uptown, we strive to create a safe, loving, and inviting environment in order to make our little ones’ first experiences with church positive ones.  We use age appropriate games, stories, and activities to engage our youngest attendees because we want to help lay the basic foundation upon which their faith will be built.

All of our Uptown team have undergone a thorough screening process, background checks and training.

DOWNTOWN// K – 5th Grade

In Downtown, we have more than just we have dedicated volunteers who want to get to know the children who walk through our doors and to build relationships with them.  We integrate the latest technologies available into our activities and we want to partner with the families of our church who are raising a generation of children to know and walk in relationship with Jesus.  Each service is different, but includes a mixture of small groups based on age, worship, age-appropriate Bible stories, and fun activities.

All of our Downtown team have undergone a thorough screening process, background checks and training.

MADE 2 PRAISE & MADE 2 PRAISE JR //

Our children’s choirs Made 2 Praise Jr. (K-2nd grade) and Made 2 Praise (3rd-5th grade) meet during Bible:101 on Wednesday Nights in Libertyville. These choirs allow children to learn to praise God through music!

M2P and M2P Jr. begins with a time for all children K-5th grade to express love and devotion to God through worship. This time also allows for children to grow spiritually mature in their faith by providing biblical principles that can be applied to everyday life.

CENTRAL PARK

One of the most exciting things about Libertyville is our amazing in-door playground which we call Central Park. Children enjoy climbing through our tunnels and sliding down our two awesome slides. We also have a special area just for the littlest members of Libertyville. A parent or guardian must accompany any child playing on the playground.
